This year, as in previous years, information including the invitation, lunch/banquet meal ticket order forms for the Worshipful Master, will be sent to the Lodge Secretary who along with the Worshipful Master will be responsible for ordering the tickets for the Worshipful Master or for his certified Proxy.
Registration for officers and delegates will commence at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16. The Grand Master's Lodge, Waynedale Lodge No. 739, will open the meeting at 9:00 a.m. with the Grand Procession followed by Grand Master Carey B. Carter’s keynote address.
During the annual election of Grand Lodge Officers for 2017-2018, delegates will vote for Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Senior Grand Warden, Junior Grand Warden, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary and Grand Trustee.
The afternoon business session and the Wednesday session will feature Officers and Committee Chairman presenting their annual reports.
Credentials for the meeting will be sent to each Lodge Secretary the week of March 30, provided the Annual Reports and Recap payment have been received in the Grand Secretary's office. The Secretary must certify the Credentials and give them to the Worshipful Master or Proxy. The Credential and a current membership card must be presented to the Credentials Committee when the Worshipful Master or his Proxy registers.
The Grand Lodge Banquet and Entertainment will be held on Tuesday evening, May 16, in the Banquet Hall of the Scottish Rite Cathedral for all delegates and guests.
Meal Tickets – Worshipful Master or Proxy: Meal ticket order information will be sent to the Lodge Secretary; both Master and Secretary are responsible for ordering the tickets. Deadline for the registration is Sunday, April 30. The Worshipful Master or his proxy is entitled to one complimentary Tuesday evening banquet ticket and one lunch ticket for Tuesday and Wednesday, if pre-ordered. One additional banquet ticket may be purchased at a reduced price of $25. Only those tickets ordered prior to the event will be placed in the packets to be picked up at the Credentials Table when each delegate registers. Telephone orders will NOT be accepted.
Meal Tickets - Lodge Brethren: The Lodge Secretary may order up to six additional banquet tickets at $45 each and six lunch tickets per day at $18 each for Lodge Brethren who will attend the sessions. These tickets will be mailed back to the Secretary for distribution.
Separate invitations are sent to Grand Representatives and Committee Members and they will be given instructions on how to order their own meal tickets.
Each Worshipful Master/Proxy or any Lodge representative must make his own hotel arrangements, if needed. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, 5151 S.
